that would probably not fit with the retro style of the car. the driver kind of adds to the atmosphere of the picture, and if you have the stig, imo it would look a bit wrong

For the Stig (speed effect), it's coming soon.
I maide a new static render with the ambiance occlusion and I modified the background with photoshop.


But now I want to make a new scene : salt Lake record speed, and I don't find the background image of the salt lake.

And I think also, I want just doing a static picture.
I finished my project, but I don't like the result yet. Maybe with an ambiance occlusion and a new shadow it will be better.

something is bothering me with those rear fenders...

I like the first, hte second is too race for me.
I don't like the last model, I don't know if it's a replica or not :the back have a strange form, the body is too smooth it looks like a resin. I'm probably wrong.

I think you need to work on your shadows and possibly some depth of field.

Mainly the shadows give away the fake look. What are you rendering with?

If VRay: You might want to try using VRay Sun and VRay's Dynamic Camera (or whatever that camera is.)

well the car paint and actually the whole car has a bleached out look overall so you might want to work on the colors first. also the shadows of course are way too light as skb875 mentioned

The body looks pretty good but I prefer the model with the full windshield.
