learnin HDRI

Here is a little comparison of my engine i used in one of my hot rods before and after i figured out how to use HDRI.


And a little more work done, headers and exhaust. this time using HDRI.

yea there is a difference, but i think this is the wrong forum, there is a rendering forum where you can post your render wip, but the materials need some more work.

yeah i didnt know which forum to put it under but im goin to be doin more work on the engine and adding more details so i put it under WIP.

wow really kool but maybe the belt shouldnt be as reflective, it looks lik it is wet but mayb thats the look u wanted.. IMO i think all the reflections r just a tad strong.. but then again it gives it a very realistic chrome feel... either way whether u change it or keep it it looks great

Agree with Marty but also think belt pulleys & engine block could be less reflective too, just the bolt on tinware ect looking full chrome. Otherwise a vast improvement.
