great progress really good job man
for me for curvy cars like audi TT nurbs is the easiest way but for cars like lancer evo and stuff poly is better .

yeah, i would say the same what coldflame did, basic shape cars would be nurbs.. and a bit more comlicated would be poly.. honestly, i'd prefer to learn rhino to the point where i can model even the most comlicated body, but that would take a lot of practice

nice stuff as always mp5 though i would like to know where you want to go with this model. ie how much details are you planning before you call this project done?

actually.. at the moment all projects are paused... every single one of them, if not canceled. reason being is i'm deciding where i really want to go with modelling, do i want to stick to high poly? or not. At the moment i'm strongly considering just dropping the high poly stuff, and just do mid poly for GTA series. i have a long awaiting mazda 6 sedan to be put in san andreas.. and i already have a couple of other projects in mind.. most likely i'll be stopping here with the highpoly. what i know for sure is that i can do pretty nice detail in mid poly too, thats for sure, so hopefully my next topic will be starting with a mid poly car for san andreas

hmm that's interesting, though sad and good at the same time. too bad you'r stopping all the high poly stuff, because you are one ofthe guys who really produce high quality stuff and i enjoy watching it. on the other hand seeing some GTA SA models from you would be awesome

lol, thanks, actually, when i posted some of my 6 shots in the gta forums when i was experimenting with it in vice city people there were impressed, so i guess that means not many good quality models are made

i want to dedicate one whole day into learning how to put this car in san andreas, and then i'll wait for spring or summer to come, so i can go outside and snap some nice and clean photos for textures of my moms interior
