so that is with the wheels? i think you could easily save a couple hundreds polies if you reduced the segments on the piping in them otor area. buti guess you know best where to save some stuff if there is need to do so

Thanks guys!

@Silent][Moebius
Yeah, including wheels, but now it's a bit higher because of some new stuff. Yes, i could save some polygons at the pipes, but they look so nicely smooth that i couldn't do that

.:: UPDATE ::.

Finished the body, next thing: normals. With normals will came the gas cap, since i'll need to make normals for the left side first, then remodel the part for gas cap on the right side before i unite both body parts...

Wink NORMALS!

@outtanames
Well, sure, why not? If the game can handle such polycount

@The IC
That would need whole new texture map, so probably not...:\

@marty-bett
GTA:SA? Well, i don't know, i'm demotivated to model the door parts and stuff. I tryed once model car with openable doors hood etc., but lost motivation really quickly...

.:: UPDATE ::.

Normals(smoothing) finished. Enjoy these highres Zmod shots

Now ''only'' the interior and the damn engine grill i still keep forgetting about.

EDIT: I was so excited about finishing the normals that i forgot to model the gas cap, well, here it is:

Thanks! But it's too soon for ingame shots, because i started on the coupe version too:

.:: UPDATE ::.

The conversion to coupe goes better than expected, things to do: side window, engine cover (and its screws) and engine grill (also needed for the roadster).
72k polygons so far.

Anyway, it is looking fabulous, Rob! However, with a polycount this high, I would have thought you were to remove the obviously sharp edges, for instance on the front and such.
Nonetheless, this still is an astonishing and very inspiring piece of modeling!
