Thanks.

Model has around 18000 polygons without subdivision + each tyre about 7000 polygons. Here are couple wireframes without subdivision.

Looks nice
I see you've rendered the tiretreads, but those aren't modeled... Is it a bump map orso?

Nice Model. It is totally a car that wants the high-poly treatment. When i made it, it was sooo hard to heep it from going over 12000 polys for Racer. Just so many cool little details to do.

Nice job!

Very nice model, congrats

Regarding the low poly cage for a real time application, there are serveral areas you could simplify and use texturing for making details.
All the edges you used to get sharp edges in the meshsmoothed version can be removed. The trick to get sharp edges or smooth surfaces for real time applications would be using and managing smoothing groups.
Also with texture baking you could add details with baking light and shadow information into your mesh.

Regardless of my critics, that is a great model and your modelling is very clean.

Looking forward to see a nice rendering of the car

Thanks guys.

discocandy: Here is a closeup shot of the rim

I got the blueprints here. Here is a direct link to those http://smcars.nd4spdworld.com/forum/...ghlight=jaguar

Lem, this model isn't really modelled for any realtime app, that's why it isn't really looking good without subdivision. Just enough polygons so it will look good after subdivision.

Yeah i misread your posting.
1 thing regarding the tire. The side wall should be a bit more curved then it would be perfect.

What a classic, the car looks excellent. Even the wheels is detailed , Love that tread and the wire wheels are spot on. I cant see a single error myself. Anyhow the car looks great and I hope to see the Colored version perhaps very soon
