Lexus IS250

hey people,

this is on offspring of a model im doing for a job (client wants a racing modified IS250), and this car was on my "want to do" list too...ive pumped this out today, since the racing one needs to be done by around wednesday or thursday...i wont be showing the racing version here though

feel free to point out stuff, it wont be 100% accurate because i need to have it done so quick, but i want to come back and make a nice model of the standard version with it when time allows...and then go back to the zonda

hope you like

oh, and the wheels and big brakes that are on it are for the racing car, so dont complain if they look out of place

thats a really great start man, only things i can point is 1. there seems to be a problem with poly flow where the outer top corner of the tail light is?? and 2..well, not really a flaw, b/c i'm sure your final render will be better, but just that the headlights blend in with the paint... otherwise, model is clean, and i really like it, how soon do we get to see the racing version?

wow that is quite impressive work you have done with it. your client should be plenty satisfied if this is just the start!

nice work but i spotted some things on this model
1. the head light looks weird but cant point it out
2. the render needs some AA cause there are some sharp edges
apart from that the studio setup and the paint looks great. can you post some wires and clays?

thanks for the comments

had a tiny bit of time to work on the stock version today...the racing version is already done...ill ask if i can to post some small pics of it, if i am allowed, ill probably have to wait at least 2 months...

@lowcorsa: ive changed it to a Yokohama AO48 sidewall im working on...but how is the goodyear sidewall backwards? the eagle reads from left to right, and if you flip your head upside down the goodyear reads from left to right...i dont understand

oh yeah, the red glass has a wonky reflection that i really need to fix...it didnt appear on the racing version cos the lighting was different

after lookin at it closer i see what u mean. i think it was because, usually the bottom of the letters are towards the centre of the tyre and the top of the letters is towards the tread. im not sure how that particular tyre is suppose to be.
hope that makes sense.

ah righto, i get ya now...i didnt make that tyrewall myself, i got it from here a while ago...and after checking some dunlop tyres, the bottom of the letters probably should have been pointing inwards
