[GTA Rides] Ferrari F430 Spider (SA)

New Project. Since the Supra doesnt lag at all and it works amazingly smooth. Time to bump up my polycount to 120k tops. Probly wont reach it but thats my new limit

You and mpfive's SA project made me want to make some cars for SA. Shame they don't have a maya plug-in. Oh well. Anyway, it looks great Can't wait to drive this car in the game.

Well you can always make it in maya and then export it into zmod or 3d max whichever your more comfy in. But then again. Exporting into another software is what kept me from making cars for gta because i only like to work in 1 software and not throw the car around.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of exporting to another program, either. But I'll have to look into it. I've really been wanting to make a model for a game for the past few months.

Anyway, I'll be watching your F430. It's looking really sweet.

Remember that one hipoly car doesn't lag the game but if you got several of them, then it might start to get slower

Anyways nice start already, this will be excellent aswell

I cant understand why you use so many polys on the hard edges? You could use half of that champher amount and just use smoothing groups...
Oh right..yeah... you dont have any limits.. But IMO it would be possible to get nearly same result with less polys.

Anyway great job!
