Mazda RX-8 Coupe (reborn)

Repost:
Originally this was intented for the import tuning contest.
Didn't make the deadline due to ather commitments.
Started work on this again.
i've completly remodeled the front and rear bumpers, also reworked the side intakes ( extented them to the rear to give the car a meaner look).
Note that the rear doors have been removed.

Any crits welcome.

cheers

Hey man, Mazda is looking sweet, great modeling. As for the chrome material, its just amazing! Wanna share how you did it? Love the paint color too.

hi guys thanx for the replies.

@ Mertz, can you clarify what you mean by the flatness of the bumper.

@ Lynx, in regard to my chrome; i can tell you OR i can send the surface to you. Basicly it's a standard very lighty blue colored surface.
Diffuse is set to low(30%), Reflection set to 80% with a gradient overlay.
This gradient is set to incedence angle so that the surface reflects more when the viewing angle is sharp ( in relation to the object ).
Last but not least, pick a nice image as a reflection map (preferably a HDRI based spherical map), then simply add a little bloom effect and voila.

Hmmm. easier to send the surface to you.

Note this is intented for Lightwave 9
If u use 3DSMax i can't help you

Hope this helps
