Saturn Ion Quad Coupe

Hey, Im new here, maybe someone knows me from Gta-worldmods. I model cars with 3ds max since June 2006 or something like that and thats my actual priject for GTA San Andreas. The Saturn Ion Quad Coupe. Its my 8th car or so, and it shouldnt be too highpoly, because its a car for a game. I dont know how to render it, so the pics are maybe pretty ugly. Ok, here are some pics:



Dont worry about the textures, Ill change them, when I find some better ones.

I can't tell, but did you model the inside of the lights ?
Also, there seams to be a symmetry seam in the middle of the hood and front bumper.
Looks pretty good other than that, nice polyflow. Are you going to do an engine too ?

Yeah, Ill model everything. Engine, interior, trunk and all the stuff under the wings and bumpers. Damagemodel and stuff of course too. This symmetry seam is on the real car too, thats why I modeled it. And the front and rearlights are 3d, theyll look ingame better than now. I hope.

Have you thought of creating a tuned verion of the ion. From what I seen the past two years the ion has some potental when it comes to the custom scene.

Maybe Ill make it tuneable ingame with too bodykits and all that stuff. But its alot of work, and it would take some time. But good idea. Somebody here, who want to model some bodykits?

Sorry for doublepost but theres a new update. I began modelling the engine, thats the first time I try to make it "nearly" complete 3d. But i dont want to make it too highpoly. Here are some picz:

Sorry for doublepost, but there is an update. I added some details and stuff, I still waiting for the interior guy, so no interior. I plan to make a bodydkit, so u can tune it to a redline version. And, I made my first renders . They arent the best, the black ones were my first try. So, here they are:

Renders are pretty dark. Needs some global illumination and you could try changing the environment color to dark grey instead of black.

The alphaversion is now ingame, still a lot of things to do like fixing normalproblems, moddeling tuningparts, shadow, collision...
