*==AK-47 Yes, I'm back. ==*

Wuddup guys.
I know it has been awhile since I've posted my work here. I know there has been much crying. Guys, you can stop now. SKB is here.

Anyways, here is what I have been working on SLOWLY. I am planning on doing alot of detail, but without turbo smoothing. I chose the AK, well.. cuz I love this gun.. and I own about 5 of them.

I want to import it into GTA and Counter Strike: Source. So if anyone know how to import guns into CSS, that would be fantastic.

Any specific parts you want pictures of?
Here's my collection so far. =)

My Polish and Romanian AK still need to be refinished. I need to get ahold of a sand blaster though.

My Polish AK

These are 2 Romanian AKs, and a Romanian AK that I haven't built up yet.

My pistol AK, cut it myself. [[It's legal.. I looked into all the laws]]

Catlin...> You wanna PM me your E-mail address?

Schaefft...> Well, I only shot 2 of them.. I still have both eyes and hands.
One did break though, my welds broke on the inside of one, but it just jammed up the gun. Fixed it, and haven't tested it since.
They're REALLY fun to shoot, but the ammo costs a lot. like $90 500 rounds.

Hey there nice start but i wouldnt use that many cylinder divisions.
You need to think about what would be most efficient.
The front of the gun will be very small ingfame so no one would notice if it has 8 to 10 divisions instead of 20 for example.
Also leave out details like extra extrusions and just texture them on.
Can't wait to see more
good luck

=] much thanks.

Dennis...> yeah, I know they don't have to be there, but they were fun to make. I'm going for alot of detail more than a game model gun.
I have those there because at each one of those points there a step down in the barrel. The different size in the barrel allows for the different items to be put on (ie: rear sight block, gas port, front sight)

If anything, I can make a low poly barrel and use a render of this barrel for textures.

I didn't mean to insult you or anything, I want any feedback I can get. You know more about this game model stuff than I do, so I respect what you say.

Here's a slight update for you guys.
