Cool Audi R8 (The Beginning Of a Noob)

since i dont have enough experience to complete a car from a single (side) sketch, i decided maybe it would be easier to work on a car that has complete blueprints (I.E. Left, top, front rear), This one seemed like a good idea (C&C welcome) This is all i've done so far

Well prince, looking good for a noob, I have place a couple of lines where on your bonnet, fender etc seams need to be sharper.
I would say if you do a chamfer, maybe do it smaller to get a sharper edge on the seams.
looking good for a first.
Have you got the tutorial that redstar had done, to help you, if not here is a link.

http://www.smcars.net/forums/video-t...tutorials.html

keep it up and dont rush. I have not checked any ref pics for accuracy.

Just checked ref pics, taken my first pic out, put new one in.... the R8 do not have a bonnet seperate where you have placed it. rejoin the blue line and the bonnet is where the green lines are.
url for some refs are:
Exotic Car Wallpapers : Dieselstation - Fuel For Your Desktop - Audi R8
Hope this helps

You've got to select these edges and chaamfer them. Play around with different settings and this should be fine.

starting to look good, you have a few pinches near intake and top corner of light, I would suggest a wire each update you do so as we can help you better.
Dont render wires do a screen capture, with this url I supplied earlier, so you can get it done right.
keep up good work.

u shud align ur vertices along the symmetry line better. get them all on the same point on the x axis.. usually people do it at 0 but depending where ur model is in ur scene will change it. i say this because if u look at ur last attachment u can see sometimes the edge is there and otheres is has been cut off due to the symmetry modifier..

Good luck!
