1998 Civic Coupe

Hey, its been awhile since i showed up around here. Thought I would post my new work and see if I can get some help with the renders and what not. Its my buddys 98 Civic that he wanted me to make so here we are.

Still working on smoothing it out in spots and might have a lil trouble with the headlights that im doing but hopefully it will turn out good.

1024*768 is the preffered size (if not bigger)
and use the attachment system
i think ur perspective is a bit wierd, looks like u have alot of FOD
but from what i can see it looks great!

With what you are showing it is very hard to help because you're hiding all of the problems with the small pix or the fisheye effect.

I cant go any bigger on the pics, my comp takes almost 2 hours to render those pics. As for the fish eye effect... its just in the regular perspective view.. nothing i can do about that.

definitely is not normal perspective... the front of your car is way too round. its pretty inaccurate but you can still tell what it is but thats ok

Why not just post screenshots of your car in 3d max? Nobody is critting a WIP on the renders...

Also, go to File>Reset and that should fix all of your perspective issues. THere is another way if you dont want to reset ur whole max is by in the perspective view press f to turn it into a front view and then press p to turn it back into a perspective and now ur view should be good. If you tell me that didnt fix it than its obviously you who likes that fisheye view...

I have no idea what the hell you guys are talking about, there is no ****ing fisheye.. and the perspective view is the same as it was when i first installed max, nothing changed

don't get mad, we're only trying to help

the above render looks fine, its just that the perspective on some of the other renders is wierd. As for render times, post an unsmoothed wireframe (screenshot can do tht) and a clay render or screen shot. Only takes a few seconds that way and you'll b able to make the images much bigger.

Keep it up man

Body looks good but I don't know, it could be just the angel but are the wheels too small for the body?

Show off, lol... i still dont know what I did to have it come out like that... ive never touched anything between the 2 renders, just the camera position.

As for the headlights its 96-98.. the one you posted it 99-00

Lynx - I don't know why but I had that problem twice. I solved this by changing perspective viewport to another and the go back.

Well if you say you didnt then maybe you didnt but if you wana know for the future, this is the button to use to change the perspective into a fisheye style and also if you are going to use cameras than its different for them (i think)
