Thanks guys

i believe the polycount was slightly over 7000 (the wheels are killer)
and a 1024x1024 for the texture/specular/normal map
was for an art test which gave me a job

Not just this random assignment
also displayed items from my portfolio
but they wanted to have somethign extra because i did not have that many items to show at that time.
Besides i was already working there as a tester
(how do you know i work at guerrilla btw?)

Cool, so yo were free to choose what you were gonna model for them ? And how did you go from tester to artist there? You started QA with the goal of becoming an artist (never heard of this approach before) ?
And you've got Guerilla games under your nickname at gameartist.net, which I also attend

Rickyss:
The bobcat was not modelled using any blueprints.
I just used a lot of reference pictures and modelled from there

Xoliul:
Ah haha that explains everything.
Yes i did become a tester there just so i woult get to know the company and their people.
See how things were run and who i had to talk to for advice and or my application.
Showed some of my stuff and got their interest.
Cant say much about the art test im affraid.
