Cool Driftcar competition *take 2* - Skyline R34 GTR V-spec

ok, here we go with another model...
I know that there are still some bugs with it, just remember that this is very early WIP, so im still changing bits as I go.

The bodykit is being modeled from some photos, the side skirt + front bumber are not finished yet

Going to try and keep the poly count around 20/30,000 hopefully less.

anyways, C+C more than welcome,
this will be a slow project as I am busy at the moment, but im gunna enjoy making this one

Lookin' better but I think that rear fender, side skirt and front bumper are still very bumpy right now.

should it be low or highpoly? bcs you want lowpoly its not so bad, but if hipoly, then i thing you should work on details there etc imho

cheers for the input guys,
lost :I agree about the side skirt and front bumper... the side skirt I might re-do cause im really not happy with it... the front bumper needs more detail and tweaking, and the rear quarter panel just needs the smoothing groups playing with... which is a twat to do in Maya but ill get it sorted lol

p4vlik.cz : its going to be mid poly hopefully, so there are still lots of details to add, and bits still to tweak

thank you yeah, I'm aiming to have full interior, partial underbody, and partial engine....

im not sure whether to forget about trying to restrict the poly count, and just go all out and make it really detailed, or, try and keep a realistic polycount so that I have a better all round model for my portfolio...

ok, heres the deal guys.....
in all honesty, Im really not sure what you guys mean by "Bumpy" .... (yes I know, im thick) well, I kinda figured with the front wing, cause that was messy, but I think I fixed that..

could you guys possibly put a red circle on the images below of what parts you think need changing etc?? this would help me alot

ok, just remember that im working in Maya, not Max

PS ignore the side skirt, im gunna start that again cause its nasty

just corrected the mesh a bit and adjusted some normals.

the render is rather small and doesn't leave much space to circle anything or comment on, since it's also very blurry

next time maybe you shouldn't blurr the render output.

sorry about that, the render settings were low as it was just a quick one.
