Autocar (late 30s - 40s)

Here's the medium-duty Autocar. Probably introduced in 1936.
I decided to make a 4x4 WWII version of the truck as well.
Included are also a couple of reference images for those who have no idea of what the trucks looked like.

I would post some updates, but somehow after what happened to the forum I could not login in, so I had to register again. Thats no problem for me, but I would appreciate if I could login with my old user name.

An update.
Does anyone know what paint color was used for these kind of WWII tanker trucks?
This olive drab should be ok, but I suspect those used in airfields were painted yellow.

I thought blue was used in the airfields, but can't say for sure.
I love those COE trucks, hope to see more from you.

Dan,
The old COE trucks are weird... I don't know, they are so different from anything we see today. That's what makes me doing them.
About the color, I tried to search for colors, I found some information about what color the US Navy have used: grey and light blue, but that's unfortunately of no relevance to this project as text on the side is "US Air Corps". It would be nice to make the right color and the right markings.
Attached are some new renders and a reference image of the yelow truck (this of course might have been repainted). The truck is not supposed to be rendered from the bottom, so the detalisation of the chassis is not complete.

I might in fact go some for sort of "decay" look. See a test render attached (light is not set, textures - just to give an idea)

I have not had time recently to do much about the model.
Here are some updates.
The simplified chassis of the civil version of the truck + the logo.
Basically I have very little left to model here (small things like whipers, handles, hinges, etc), just lacking time.

What i like in your renders is the pristine looks of the textures. Hence, please do a crisply-colored version and leave the wheathered one for later. (-:
