Thanks for comments, guys. Yes S][M, you're right, the nose need some extra work after too brutal changes in mesh. Here's an update on the interior and the rear.

Thanks but I must confess it's not my work : http://www.freewebs.com/blendermats/, section "Metallic Paint".
I changed it a bit but the overall look was already there.

Little update.
Materials are almost all recreated.
Model update on : rear mirrors, headlights, dashboard cover screws, rear wheels covers, rear air intake.
PS : Pictures are from my website as it's back online, no longer free hosting.

Incredible work, this car and that other being done really show skill to model everything. No freebies or gimmies with these cars, its like modeling a motorcyle, all or nothing

Hey guys, thanks for your kind words, it's really nice to read that !
Icekid84, you're not exactly right : I know there is many many parts still to model, especially in the front area. But I'm afraid I can't handle them, as I'm out of time and of motivation to model totally hidden parts.

Of course I will model more parts at the rear of the car. Suspension, engine, compressor, gearbox, rearlights and some details.
Afaik, the engine is a supercharged K20A, delivering 300HP.

Thanks S][M, I also love the Cat, but wanted to model the most challenging car, and also the less famous one.
I currently work on the scene lighting. Here's three different attempts, which one do you prefer ?

i think you would need a proper environment for the 2nd version, i really like the 3rd one, because it captures the studio atmosphere very nicely!

Ok, I'm back with improved outdoor lighting. Only test render as of now, but chances are the final setup will be simplistic as it's here.
Few modeling updates : rear suspension, start of engine top. I think I have no chance to complete modeling job until the contest deadline. So I'll concentrate on producing good pictures.
After the contest deadline, if I still have enough motivation, I'll work toward completion of the modeling. And materials. And scene. And ...
