For the lack of updates last week there is no excuse. Sorry been busy.

So. Today i added some more parts around the foot controls and made a little test with the kickstand.
Just a try if it will work in the animation. I need to find some info how much the bike will lean over when it's on the kickstand. Somehow the kickstand looks a little short but it wont fit in if it's longer.

Anyway, images.

And what exactly does heavy mean in this case. The only weight i can feel with this is the polycount of about seven mil.

Impressive work, really convincing model : it looks as powerful and agressive as the real one.

You're doing a top notch job, 5 stars from me. Keep it up !

Thanks for the nice comments and the rating. Now i'm really encouraged to go on with it. Color will have to wahit for some days. I need to tie up some lose ends in th emodel first. I think i need to redo the back fairing behind the seat. Just seen some new images where i can now clearly see how it builds up.

I hope to have something later tonight.

Hi there. Final rendering is close but i first wanted to share some last WIP images. I still have a rather long todo list on the model and rendering side. Some things are still open for now. I'm thinking about final presentation and i'm also trying some shots with a rider figure on it.

For now some more WIPs.

very nice. but the helmet seems too small.

the front brake diameter of the 1098 (2008 model) is 13 inches. my helmet is about 10.5 inches wide, 14.5 inches long, and about 11 inches tall.... just for some sizing references

another potential sizing issue is your rear brake disc ... it's supposed to be 9.7 inches on the '08 model

Yeah the helmet is too small. I mesured mine which is the same one as in the images. Made it the right size now. The rear brake disc should be right in size. I will check that later today as the todo list is still very long. Think i need a bigger sheet of paper now.

take out the helment i think it takes away the attention of the bike and ruins the render. the bike is lookin hot though

looks amazing. wish i had the talent to do something like this. as i am a huge bike fan but cant seam to model them. one comment tho. is the front tire. it looks to fat and square more like a car wheel. may look better rounder and pointer if you get me. sorry for the terrible explination.
but bike does look absolutly amazing still. well done
