Nope the whole thing is restored to factory settings nothing will work

just try! realy data doesnt delet from hdd or other drives! only information delets. So you can capture files after format.

you could try to restore your data like punkguy said, it once happened to me and it kinda works, so you could give it a shot.

i mean probably not only for the sake of your model, but you probably have other stuff on the HDD that is worth a bit more to you

yip they are right... use some kind of undelete software and you may be able to get this data back. thats bad luck mate... this is why i always try to keep a backup copy of my current projects on some sort of portable storage. eg. my phone.

I could try it - but the last time I paid extra for the guy to boot to windows and recover my files - but my comp just messed up again, something I dont want to do, also im not sure if the guy installed a new hdd or just completely wiped it....Anyhoo I'm not going to do it incase my comp messes up again, new car
