Toyota 88C-V twins Minolta/Taka-Q

Hi all,

I started a new project. Old Lemans race cars again!

This time I'll try to model the Toyota 88C-V, and then apply Minolta and Taka-Q skins, so I'll get two cars from one mesh.

Also I'll try to do this in Rhino... so long time betwen updates may be common.

Attached the Minolta boxes that will be used as references... and what remains of the Minolta version.

Cheers, Joe.

Thanks all for your comments

After many trials and errors, the front is almost done. Side panels added (still need some filleting)

Thanks guys!

Icekid84, you should give it a try - only way to learn after all . There are some very good tutorials out there that show the basic and a little more.

The main issue is that you can't pull-push/drag vertexes/edges and faces once the geometry is built, but hey, it's a diferent way of modelong.

After some trials I got the first version of what would be the cockpit. Somethings to correct still.

Cheers, Joe.

Small update. I deleted the windows, because the air intakes need to be done before cuting them (the side windows).
