why are you thinking about putting different rims on the car other than the ones that actually belong there? just put the 'stock' rims there

Stock on the WRC. i don't think that will work . Multispokes always look good on Rally cars. here are my WIP wheels. still need holes for the nuts, general shape is there though.

I think they suit very well.

Thank you Lost

I have been doing small details since last time i posted.

I have added aerials, a roof scoop, the chrome strips on the front, finished the alloys and added window washers. small things but they make the car look hella better.

More soon. i want to do the lights for this car, but they look very hard. hope they don't put me off the project

20 inch multispoke rims and low profile tires on a WRC car... that looks weird... i guess you misunderstood when i said stock rally rims. i meant the rims they use when rallying not the stock ones from the stock car

the model is coming along very nicely, it just looks very weird with those rims atm ...

this is waht i mean klick me

LOL, Been busy so no update lately. tru those alloys are HUGE, i like big alloys but fair enough i fixed it to be better.

I also did the lights. i found them very difficult to model and i will atleast stick with these for a while.
I still need to make the rear lights, and touch up round the back of the car. as well as make the disc brakes and calipers + wing mirrors and wipers

C&C welcome
Peace

As far I can see from clay render model is pretty smooth, and the only bump is around door handle. I might notice wavy windshield, but not sure.
Great progress on Citroen, hope to see it textured in the end.
Post some wires, please.

that is looking Hot especially the front. I like the side less, it looks a bit wavy and the rear seam of the door doesn't align very well. Also as niray pointed out there is a little bump overthere.

If you would go trough the side as you did on the front you have a really good car there

Nice to see you're still working on this one. WRC models are rare here.

The models looks good, except a little bump on fender when it meets the Apillar.

But you need serious work on gaps between body parts : their width is really inconstant, it ruins the overall feeling of your model.

Thanks for the heads up Niray. i see what u r talking about around the door handle, i will try and fix it. The window is a temporary one, well the front one is. i will refine it at the end because it is wavy.

The seams are fine and straight, they look funny because u can see through them and they show whats behind. i have put a piccie in to show you. thanks anywayz.
The side of the car is pretty plain on this car, it will look better once textured properly. would you agree?

I Don't think they are that inconsistent. i think it is the angle. maybe it is better in the render below. i have also noticed that bump too now. and i will resolve it soon. Thanks

For the model itself, i haven't had time to do anything to it except to add wing mirrors. Niray, here are some wires. they aren't all that in flow, but this is one complex car for me, i was chopping and changing things left, right and centre

I agree with you, the last render you showed up is pretty clear about there is no issue with gaps widths.

But I really think you should give some thickness to each body part, as for now they're just planes.

Welcome to SMC, Sumak. I hope you'll enjoy your stay.

Prykie is right, we have a rule about not digging up topics older than a month or two. But I guess there is no big issue about saying you appreciated that work. I did too.

Try to keep it in mind for future posts. You can focus on current WIPs by browsing directly the WIP section in our forums : http://www.smcars.net/forums/work-progress/
