C4 WRC

A long time ago, like for my first car, i made a C4. That was ****e may i say.

now that i have some practice in max, i am starting the WRC model. i am restarting from scratch because the old wireframe as i mentioned before was ****e.

I am using the standard C4 blueprints but using ref pics for the WRC kit.

At the mo i got a rough front end thing going, its a bit bumpy and needs a lot of work, so let me begin by showing what i have done so far.

Hi ya, got another small update. going a bit slow at the mo because i am finding it difficult to get some good ref pics. like close up ones of the side etc, or large images.

But this is what i have done today. what ya think?

The hood right below the Apillar needs to be more edgy.
The body rear the custod is bumpy.

Otherwise, it's really a good start, especially the front. Nothing to critic on the front !

And btw, really cool choice of car.

Thnx mate. i made it slightly sharper, but i don't know what the custod is

Small update. tried smoothing out what i could so far. For some reason i find this car annoying to model using the original C4 coupe blueprints. maybe they don't match well around the back athough the front seemed ok thats why i am taking ages on this car.

Don't trust blueprints as hell. There're 3 things you'll need to model accurately : refpics, refpics and refpics.

Use blueprints only for a rought shape of the car. Once you made the whole shape, throw blueprints away and work a part at a time, using as many refpics as you can get.

I think you still need work on the two points I've noticed previously.
