I found a flaw in your perfect modelling at the vents directly to the sides of the rear number plate part, theres a small pinch where the vent flushes in with the rest of the car. apart from that its looking good

@crazy 989: you mean the crease bit that goes off from the top of the vertical vent that blends in halfway toward the number plate area?

@Nik: YOU = EPIC FAIL ...just for that, the next 4 cars im doing are the WRX, ASL Garaiya, 350z and Lexus IS350 ...and theres no DBR9 in SuperGT

Really nice work, as usual. It's nice to see some "work in progress" on the Porsche, instead of your previous posts where you "just" posted already-complete perfect models

Keep us updated !

few more details...i think the pinch is still there, but its mostly going in the same direction now

also just chucking up a pic of the actual car (they changed the wheels to the ones on my model later on)

@tom120934: usually once ive started modelling, i dont stop until the absolute latest...i also aim to work out the entire body flow in one session, then start the core details...then when i get round to posting, which i usually do just before i turn off the computer, ive already got alot done...its just a way to keep motivated, by coming back to a file that you already feel youve done a solid amount of work on

It's nice to have such a feedback about the way you work. When one sees how efficient and motivated you are, one will find yours explanations useful for sure.

Thanks you for that.

Can i commision you to make a model for me?

What would the prize be for a racing car like the ones on
SMCARS IC site?

Cheers Camaro3D

some new cars have been shown...the Eclipse SC430 has the exact same scheme from last year, just with the new bodykit...and the new Pixar Disney MR-S got shown...i think youll all agree they chose a much more suitable Pixar movie to sponsor it this time ...you cant see the "eyes" properly from that angle though, its also still a WIP cos some stickers are missing at the moment...reference problems as usual...

also did some quick renders of the Porky, including the compulsory Porsche-with-flares "look at my fat ass" angle...just to stop Nik crying like the little girl he is
