Wooohaaa. Gee dad, that WRX sure looks great and mean. As you know a lot on that japan racing series, what engines are allowed? Do they use a flat boxer four subaru engine in that car? How many HP does it put out?

Anyway, As always great work IC, and whenever you are ready to make me one, ill comission you to model my own to play with in MAX.

Cheers Camaro

thanks again

quick render of the rex, still needs a few more tweaks n things...and some more progress on the IS

@viztech: its got a turbo boxer 4, its making roughly 300hp because all the cars in the GT300 are air restricted to that amount

@Erik_S: eh? the IS isnt big :?

@Nik: no volvos in here...your sign fails

@RS: still got 5 more SGT cars to model after this before i can complete my poster of the entire field

Awesome render IC!
You did damn good job on lighting the studio! Headlights look veeery nice =)

Shadows in your renders look clean and high-quality, even with few light sources. Vray shadow, or area?

omg, crazy details, renders and perfection! Just one thing, on the Subaru, isnt the window trim rounder on the actual car? its too flat on yours.

Theres the first IS350 paint scheme...really quite boring to look at...but the Wedssport Celica has been replaced with an IS350 now, and round 3 at Fuji is on in 2 days, so ill do that scheme as soon as i've got photos of it

@crazy 989: yeah...it'll require a bit of fiddling to do that though...i think I'll have to ditch Sepang and make the front straight of Fuji instead too...I've found way more high res pics of Fuji while scouring the internet for photos of Sepang :?

@Niray: yeah, it's a combo of the GI bouncing around and a spotlight with vray shadows doing that

@et_fone_home: yeah probably...I'll be sure to check when i go back over it...i have to go back over all the cars at some point to look things like that, as well as fix schemes, put in missing fuel caps, fill out the interiors a little more etc. etc. ...just avoiding getting bogged down on each car for the moment though

So after this, theres just the 350z, F430, ASL Garaiya, Boxter, Murcielargo, and some 996 911s which I've decided "upgrade" to 997s, because its a) mostly the same b) looks neater and more refined as a racing car, and c) I've already modeled the 997
