technically i havent finished the No.111 Boxster because it has different rear flares and winglet thingys, and the red area with white lines is meant to be a completely different shape...but i cant get enough decent pics, even though ive got lots of No.110 which is its teammate

and just for you Nik, ive spline caged another car you wont like

lol there you go teasing with that spline cage work of your again... Still boggles me how you get those shapes to match up... Lots of tuning I guess. Anyhow I have no doubts in my mind you will bring the Furai to life like you did the Lexus. One request, show some base wire shots as you model this one

Agreed on the base wire shots. You're always like "oh look guys I made this uber model in 3 hours" lol Would like to see how you build it up.

heh...i knew more people would recognise the Furai than the LF-A

anyhow, ive spline caged as much as is useful, but ill be modelling the GT300 350z next

@ik84 and Xoluil: i can show wires as i do it, but usually when i think about stopping i just end up thinking "hey i think ill do a bit more"...until i feel like sleeping ...i might put it in a separate thread later

ROIGHT! started the 350Z...has bumps in places at the moment, theyll all be fixed by next post ...its going to have two paint schemes, No. 46 MOLA and No.81 Team Daishin

also...practice for the Pokka 1000km at Suzuka was today and the Corvette and BMW Z4 have turned up...i dont know if the Corvette has a paint job or if its still completely white like it was a few months ago...but i have a pic of the BMW...

behold...

nothing like plastering a car with some cheesy looking manga girl ...shes the mascot for some piece of music software from Yamaha...

so yeah, now i have 4 more cars to do instead of 2...

well...the BMW and the Corvette both pulled out of the Pokka 1000km after posting really poor times in practice (the Z4 was almost 20 seconds off pace )...and if they dont compete in an actual race, i aint modelling them ...theyve got 3 rounds left to show up

anyhow, i had a hectic week and im quite tired, but ive done some more Z and started the Furai (got carried away again, sorry )

@younglion: theyre meant to be, its just thin bits of carbon fibre clipped to a tube frame for the most part

@et_fone_home: but...but its sooooo girly!

bloody ell mate, that furai looks like a good cuppa tea k.on, looking sweet man, your polyflow is a bit (I mean a bit, one area I think) sudden changing, where those little detailed curves are at the engine bay area, but really, I think it can be overlooked by the awesomeness of it
