poster mk2...still stuff to do/fix, but too tired to explain...the studio hasnt been tweaked for each individual car, so the reflections area bit crummy looking in some of them too

@tom: its modelled, and yes, the furai does have quite a "plastic" look under hard lighting

@schaefft: no...youre thinking of a series in the US...

@allcars: nah, its a funky looking car, but i wont be modelling it...unless one enters supergt of course

no updates on the furai or GT-One (ive made a boolean object for the furais engine cover, but i have to do some serious meshing work...)...also i forgot the wallpaper doom17, sorry

@rsenal: Honestly? I was expecting M1 ( 2x ) or E31 (850i) ( ) but I like Z4 too, esp. in coupe version. ;D Looks cool.

...not much going on here...just me dragging this thread into 2009...although i think ill start a fresh new thread when the teams actually start revealing their 2009 cars (around february-march i guess)...this ones getting a bit long in the tooth

ill get back onto the GT-One and the Furai once im back in GT mode

also, does anyone know if its possible for an object to have two different UVW unwraps on different channels? i tried to do it, but every time i deselected the object or collapse the unwrap, the unwrap for the carbon-fibre texture would instantly reset to be the same as the unwrap for the stickers ...this render was just with a UVW map set to box for the CF, which generates ugly seams in lots of places
