Nice stuff, I really want to see more of the furai.

It is possible to have different UVW unwraps for each different UV channel. Are you sure you have the material set to use the correct channel? Just a guess, as I've done that before...

I have seen weirdness sometimes, and you may need to collapse it all and reset UVs before trying again.

so you want to have to uwv unwraps with .... one with the stickers and one with the cf??
if it's that so .... when you unwrap just apply carbon pattern on the parts you want and the stickers over it, i've uplaoded some photos for you to see what i mean... the first one it's teh unwrap for the hood and the second is for you to se the outcome

and you know i love all your work :d

P.S. how's my furrai wallpaper coming ? i bet you forgot about it ... read your pms

thanks for all the nice comments

@Erik_S: yeah, the LF-A GT car is purely just my interpretation of what it might look like

@natec: yeah, the CF is set to 2, stickers to 1...basically i see the CF doing what i want while editing the UVW unwrap, but then as soon as i deselect the mesh or try and collapse the ID 2 unwrap, it changes it to be identical to the 1 unwrap

@doom18: thanks for the input, but its more complicated than that...the sticker unwrap is unwrapped in a way that makes painting across the panels easy...the CF one needs to be different, because every surface needs to be stretched out evenly and theres also more polygons with just carbon fibre, plus i want to keep the high-res CF texture rather than try and combine it with the stickers...and no i havent forgot the furai, i was actually playing around with it too, i still havent got the paint right though
