IC's SuperGT Stuff

hey everyone

i had some spare time over the weekend, so i decided to turn my RX7 into the SuperGT car...although only the roof, door, windscreen and back window are from the original model...need to fix a few things on the unwrap (the doubling sponsor stickers on the side skirt, and the stretching dirt in the front intake hole)

ill come back with more renders after ive made a nice piece of track for an environment...

well, if im gonna animate it, it needs some competition...so i started the Mooncraft Shiden today...heres where im at so far

also, my pitstop animations stalled, the thing you use to animate an objects link is really sensitive and clumsy, and it crashes alot...so its proving quite frustrating to get the wheel to link to the bipeds hand, and then link it to the world when its on the ground, and then link the new wheel etc. etc. etc.

should probably move this to the WIP section now...

fixed some stuff, added all the bolts and whatnot, now i gotta unwrap it

@4yBak: not sure what you mean, its reflecting like it should...if i make it more reflective then its going to look too glossy compared to all the photos ive collected

Great work on both cars. The RX7 damn... thats a long way from the one in your sig now. But still very nice.. the Moon**** car (j/k) damn.. dont care for it.. I dont like how its bigger in the front and slopes down.. reminds me of the Clooney Batmobile. But the model looks very nice and so does the smoothing on it

hahaha...gee icekid...Mooncraft Shiden turns into Mooncrap ****ting so easy...you just got lazy

anyhow, unwrapped it and stickered it up, no dirt yet though...good practice for group C cars...hoping to get a Shell 962 model for my birthday in 2 weeks, to go with my VAST collection of 2 models, the 787b and a calsonic gtr

will do some renders of the RX-7 in the studio soon

ive also got a SuperGT Cusco Subaru Forester...it sounds kinda silly, but ill explain how it came about when i post it, and can also recycle the stickers and make the WRX...also the Vemac 320/350/408R is on the books too

I do not know if it has already been brought to your attention, but on your first RX-7 renders, the light beams seem to be needing some work Top stuff, otherwise!

Incredible work on that one. The last model looks very smooth and detailed. Textures on it are amazing. Renders are also amazing and lookin' very real. Great job on that one.

@ T-Shine: haha yeah...my photoshop skills are teh suck

anyhow, heres some test renders of stuff...bit plasticy at the moment...not as good as the last ones

now, about the Forester, back at the start of 2005 i got some work with a small magazine, and they started up a small bit at the back about concepts that i was illustrator for...the red SuperGT Forester was the first concept...it looked really amateurish, but back then i was proud of it...a few issues later, the magazine broke up, and the guys all went to other magazines and reccomended me for more jobs, mostly making cars from crappy spyshots in stupidly short amounts of time...anyhow, i remade the Forester a few weeks ago just for a bit of fun

ive also started the Vemac 350R...its rather innaccurate right now, but ill get there...ive attached a photo of the 320R and the 350R/408R next to each other too...the 320R is a fair bit smaller and has a C32B V6 from an NSX, while the 350R has a Zytek V8 and the 408R has a Mugen V8

ive also been collecting pics so i can make the GT500 NSX cos the SC430 needs a compeditor (and also cos advan asked for it before)...oh, and a driver model too
