Well with 2 days that is a bit of a rush. And I agree with your friend it does have quite a few drawbacks. Personally the Carerra GT has become to common to me. No Ive not seen one but when your a supercar enthusiast like me and your always looking for more pictures of your favorite supercars.. and you just find picture after picture of these things.. they become tiresome.
Problems :
1. The overall car size seems small, this thing seems like its a kitcar of a Carrerra GT rather than a GT. And when I say kit car I mean the size is way off. It looks comparable to say a Porsche Boxster.
2.Youve got the overall front of the car way to pointy. Also the height of the hood is a bit high.I ran into a similar problem when I was modeling the Lotus Elise GT1 with having the front too high which through off the look of the car for me.
3. The rear fenders are way off and again emphasize a smaller car design. In any time you want to recreate a car , be it your own design or an existing its best to always put in the body lines of the car. Ie the seperate car parts, bumpers, fenders, etc. Without them this too adds to the feel that one is looking at an cheap knockoff fiberglass body of a Carrerra GT.
Anyhow I hope I wanst to harsh, just my 2 cents
