Thanks for the critics people I will fix that nighteye, i modelled it after a reply of coldflame on the first page, but well, it was just the fall of light that made it seem there was a line running there.

i will fix the indicator light ibeam, thanks.

Oke here are the rims, don't expect too much as i'm really worse in rims. Maybe i'll make some others in the future, i just don't know yet Also heres a closer view at the mirror.

looks pretty nice but there's some pinching on the rims. i wouldn't say that you're bad at rims though.

looks pretty nice, though I think the spokes are too thick, also theres some inaccuracy - check out some refs, I think the spoke merges in smoothly with the outer rim instead of creating an edge

More light, more light, and more dynamic colors.
Add more glosiness to rim and along with more lighting material will improve.

Great job on modeling, you're progressing pretty fast!

Try to finish this one, good luck in further work.

thanks for the reply's.

Niray: yes i know, but this was just to test if it was going to look allright. I've maid my own displacement map, so i have to check if i made it right so it will be a continious thread.

Crazy989: If you mean they are to thick from the side i think you are wrong. If you mean that they're too deep you're right. I will fix that Here is a picture that shows you that edge isn't smooth!

It's really nice looking ! I agree with Erik crit about accuracy, and your rim material needs work, but it's very promising.

oke, just put some sidewall on it to look if it is allright. The displacement is killing my renderingtimes, but it looks so much better then modelling (wich kills my pc as it's pretty old) so i leave it this way. Just a test render, i'm not satisfied with the mats except the rubber mat. also a shot just for fun that shows the model at this point.

is it just me or in that last render doesn't the rear wheel arch seem not circular enough on the back part?

Looks good Erik, but it does look like the rear wheel arch isnt round, the right handside of it looks too square

I do not think I have had to chance to comment your work yet, Erik. Why is a mystery to me, but now that I am here, I must say this is a fantastic looking model! Incredible work!

ah my bad then, I was thinking about the lp640 rim at tht time, erm yea I was talking about the depth, something is strange with the rear arch, it might be the angle. But i think either the arch is too big for the wheel or.. the wheel does not reach the same point outwards as the arch, cos theres a big gap on both sides of the wheel.

thanks for the comments guys. Yeah i know about the rear wheels, but on some picture there isn't such a big gap and on other there is. I think i have to increase the size of the wheels just a little bit so it closes the gap a bit but not too much.

In your 3D software, did you use a precise scale ? Maybe, according to the overall length of the car, as it's a easy-to-find information : 4610 mm.

If so, then my advice should be to use precise dimensions of tires and rims : 335/30R18 on rear, 245/35R18 on front.

So the rim diameter should be 18" = 457.2 mm, and tires thickness is .30*335=100.5mm on rear, .35*245 = 85.75mm on front.

So external diameters of wheels should be 658.2 mm on rear, 628.7mm on front.

The top left cover part of the headlights ( where the large orange blinker is) is inaccurate ( it should be less round... more like [ ] than O ).rest looks good.

It's looking good. Just a bit dark, but you already know it.

About render time, I think it's very long for such grainy result. What hardware did you used ? If it's pretty decent, you should try to play with quality settings to improve render time.
