Welcome to SMCars, I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.
Really nice of choice car. Are you modeling 550 or 575 ?
The hood bulge need refinement, the air intake too. Where the front bumper and the front fender meet, the edges should be curvy and not straight like now. The same for the sides of the front bumper, just below these edges. The center part, at the bottom of the front bumper, is way too ahead. The headlight shape is unclear.
My definitive advice : try to work each part at a time. Don't rush like you're doing now. I think it's not your first car, because there is some modeling skills here. But you waste them by working too fast.
If you're going for accuracy, and many seek accuracy here, you should slow down.
EDIT : I just understood you're the guy from www.blendpolis.de. I saw your work when looking in the referers statistics from my website Pixels or Atoms ?. I can't read / write / speak german, so I didn't posted on blendpolis.de. Please tell them I can give support for my tutorials if needed (english / french only)
PS : By the way, nice to have a new Blender head here too.

yeah, thats true.
I searched a tutorial for tire modeling, and somebody gave me the advice to visit your site.
btw, great tutorials!
I've told them that you can support. Maybe it can be a bit difficult because not everybody can understand english.
Alternatively you can look at BlenderArtists.org. The most poeple from blenpolis who understand english you can find there too.
its my first car, not my first 3d modeling, some skills I've learned by modeling robots
I've started the car three weeks ago, and spend a lot of evenings in front of it.
the time wasn't the problem, more the failure experience.
Thanks for the feedback, I will fix the parts and complete the rear.

I agree with many of the things that Tom has stated. The car looks somewhat decent so far, but could still use some improvement. Hopefully you can refine some of the mistakes and make it look more realistic. This is a really great car and being able to see and hear one in real life really made me like the car much more.
Good job so far and keep us updated.

I know about Elysiun aka BlenderArtists.org. I just don't post there by lack of time and I prefer focus on car dedicated sites. Feedback is more focused on the car than on Blender tips & tricks.
I think you should let away the rear. Just work on each part at a time. Complete it 100% before moving onto the next one : hood, then fender, then bumper, then Apillar, then roof, etc. You got me.

I'm a bit busy at the moment, so the next updates will be a bit small.
Now I fixed the hood and the air intake.
atm I have two versions of the air intake, one like the original and one with straight edges (attach 3 and 4).
I like both, but I think I'll choose the original look for the next steps.
The curve of the hulge is now a bit higher.
At next I'll model the front of the fender once more, one loop goes wrong and it looks too small.

Excellent update. You really improved your model since last post.
I saw you offered my help on blendpolis.de (automatic translation allows me to read just a bit of german) Thanks !

IMHO, one should always go with the original design. Accuracy is really valuable, it's the best way to show your skills in terms of studying and analysing shapes, focusing on details, etc. And tuning and ricing are just not my cup of tea

Thx for the comments,
You're right
I've choosen the original look for the air intake.
The new version:
-the front of the fender is larger
-the bumper is complete
-high detailed prancing horse (hope its the right translation)
so far

The hood air intake border is wavy, worse than the 3rd picture in your previous update. The model looks really nice, but you should fix this.
You keep improving, that's really good. The brand logo looks good, can we have a closer shot ?
Also, I'd appreciate a 3/4 shot, with camera distant enough to show whole car.
Keep us updated.

Thx,
It was a lower Subsurf level, I've forgot to turn it up
The first attachment got a higher subsurf level than the last update.
In the other attachments the hood got a lower level, my computer hasn't enough power atm/I haven't enough time.

Hood is fine now.
You have a pinch at the thickness of the headlight, outside upper corner.
The cavallino rampante lacks of relief, please check this refpic : http://autoimage.autoweb.cz/ferrari/...anello-001.jpg
The bottom of the Apillar is bumpy.
Also, there are some bumps around the air exhaust rear the front wheels.
The lower part of the front bumper is maybe still too pushed to the front of the car. Also, this part should be separated from the rest of the bumper, check the refpic above to see that there is 2 differents materials. Last, a hard edge is missing to separate the shapes.
You're missing the foglight within the main front air intake.
That's all from me at the moment. Keep it up.

Thx, thats an other version, without lights in the front.
I used this reference pic:
http://www.dieselstation.com/wallpap...anello-015.jpg
The parts in the bumper are seperated, bumper, the front air intake and the part at the bottom are 3 objects.

The car shown by Tom is the 550 Maranello, while the reference picture you are using is of the newer 575 M Maranello - and hence the reason there are differences.

You're right, sorry for being mistaken.
Here's a (pretty large) 575 refpic : http://www.autovia.com/extras/wallpa...Maranelo_5.jpg. Here's a better one (less grainy) : http://www.autoonline24.com/images/f...%20m/2.jpg
I still think the brand logo (name in italian "cavalino rampante") is a bit too flat. Its surface is not simple as yours. I hope I'm clearer now, just let me know if it's enough or not.
I still think the bottom of the A-pillar needs work. The same for air outtake behind the front wheels.
OK about the shape of the lower part of the front bumper, but it really should be a separate part, with a different shader.
No foglight anymore on the 575, you're OK.
Keep us updated.
