I agree with you, it's weird. Maybe you should delete the vertices on rear end of fender and on front end of door, and remake them by extruding the undeleted vertices.

Today i decide to put "bumps trouble" on hold and just make this rim for my nissan. This is my 1st car rim i ever made.

Far from perfect but i'm satisfied.

The spokes are wavy. I think you need more sharp edges. But the whole car starts to look good.
