69 Custom Beetle

I did this model for a relative of mine. He is restoring similar model.
I hope to complete this soon. Took me about a week to complete this much.
I am not sure how much detail I will go into yet cause I am working on a Ferrari 308 GT , Lexus IS 200 and a Mazda MX5.

The top corner of the hood should not be detached from the fender as it's now.

The gap between the trunk cover and the rest of the body needs to be cleaner and sharpened.

Otherwise, you've got a really nice model here. Keep it up, you can finish it superbly.

Thanks Thomas for taking the time to look over my model. I see the areas you are pointing out and have to say those are tricky to get right, but I will work on it and post the updates soon.

If there is a tricky car to model that is the Beetle but you are doing a superb job. Besides what tom has pointed out i'd add the window corners which should be less arched in the bottom. Just bring the outer edges that form the corners in a bit so the middle of the lower frames is more straight (sorry is it clear?)

I take it that you are referring to the area by the door.

It's really CUSTOM . I like this tuned version but IMHO white version looks much better . Other that what Tom mentioned i don't see any more problems.

well done!
