I'm stunned once again.

One critic however about your copper shader : it need some brushed texture to show anisotropic.

Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster

You're doing uber awesome job man. Materials are so inspiring.
About your copper colour, it should be more "golden"

R0cky103, your renders looks so classy. Just like professional old school technical illustrations.
Would you mind describing the render settings with details like light type, multi, kind of shadow etc? Sorry if you have already, the thread is extensive and i may have missed it.

Hey Dan, thanks for the comment and I will do my best to explain my render setup.

For my Engine Renders Im basically using 3 VRayLights, one on each side of the model and one in front.
The settings I change on each light are as follows:

1.Main light: (this is the light that is cast on the visual side of the model)
Type: Plane
Color: Is sunlight yellow (RGB 254,231,190)
Intesity Multiplier: 4.0
All other setting staying default settings making sure cast shadows is checked

2. Far light: (this is the light on the opisit side)
Type: Plane
Color: Pure White
Intesity Multiplier: 6.0
All other setting staying default settings making sure cast shadows is checked

3. Front Light:
Type: Plane
Color: Is sunlight yellow (RGB 254,231,190) or Pure White depending on the Render
Intesity Multiplier: 3.0
All other setting staying default settings making sure cast shadows is checked

Im not using a backgroud or a plane in these renders just the defualt black space

VRay Render Settings:
1. Make sure default lights is unchecked ---in Global Settings Menu
2. Image Sampler Type: Adaptive DMC ---in Image Sampler Menu
3. Antialiasing Filter: Mitchell-Netravali ---in Image Sampler Menu
4. Turn on VRay GI ---in Indirect Illumination GI Menu
5. Primary GI Bounce: Irradiance Map ---in Indirect Illumination GI Menu
6. Secondary GI Bounce: Light Cache ---in Indirect Illumination GI Menu
7. Set Irradiance Map Preset: Medium ---in Irradiance Map Menu
8. Hsph. subdivs: 50 ---in Irradiance Map Menu
9. Interp. Samples: 20 ---in Irradiance Map Menu
10. Check show Clac. Phase ---in Irradiance Map Menu
11. Set Light Cache Subdivs: 1200 ---in Light Cache Menu
12. Set Light Cache Sample size: 0.006 ---in Light Cache Menu
13. Set Light Cache Pre-Filter: 1000 ---in Light Cache Menu
14. Check Show calc. phase ---in Ligh Cache Menu
15. Check Use light cache for glossy rays ---in Light Cache Menu
16. Set filter Light cache to none ---in Light Cache Menu
17. Set DMC Sampler noise threshold: 0.005 ---in DMC Sampler Menu
18. Set DMC Global Subdivs Multi: 4.0 ---in DMC Sampler Menu

All other setting are default

Hope that helps, If you have any other questions or dont understand something please ask I happy to help out.

Thanks for the generous info. Not often we get that much.
