To me you're not done with this model. There is many holes in the front of the car, and the whole model needs some thickness on every part.
Otherwise, it looks pretty good. No bump so far, it looks like you improved since your last model. About your wires, please post unsmoothed wires because such pictures are useless : the edges you placed at hand are hidden among all the subdivisions of the surfaces. So it's harder to say if your polyflow is good or not. I think you guys are taking his initial message the wrong way.. My thought are that he's saying "when" the model is finished he may do a customized version. (hence the "after finishing").
Looking pretty good so far. Keep up the work on it for some steady progress. ![]() Keith (MyersGRFX) Myers MG-Motorsports<br />Site Owner/Admin/Painter http://www.mg-motorsports.net WIP: 29 Chevy Pickup (Custom Street Rod) - http://www.smcars.net/forums/work-pr...treet-rod.html |

That's an excellent update. For sure it's not the hardest car to model, because many surfaces are squarish and simple. But you did it very well, it's a huge improvement in your skills.
There is still some little issues to fix : the border of the hood grills could be cleaner, and the wheels lack of details (especially the tire, but the rim could be a bit more elaborated) Do you plan something special for the windshield ? I really like the 4 tiny headlights, very original. Keep us updated ! ![]() ![]() Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4) See my work and my tutorials on www.thomasbaron.net |

tnx. Headlights are custom...but it can be done from fiberglass or from carbon by yourself you must wish it and it will be real)) like that bumper for Astra GTC that i've posted in my AUDI A3 thread.
to TOM: i'll clean the grill, but can you explain what does the word "elaborated" mean? about windshield for now no ideas, but i will think abot it. And it is the most difficult model i ever did... may be because of a lot of corners....the most difficult was the place where the air intake is.... difficult to do connections of vertexes Last edited by lupus_argentumus : 01-23-2008 at 08:00 AM. |

It's weird, I posted an answer about your question yesterday, and it doesn't show up here.
What I meant by elaborated, was not, like et_fone_home suggested, "made with attention". What I meant was "more complicated, with more details". That's just that the rim shapes are too simple at the moment. ![]() ![]() Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4) See my work and my tutorials on www.thomasbaron.net |
