Thnx for the tip Tom, i found the post of ROcky103 and applied to my model.. This is what i was able to do for the little time i had.. It's not what i (we) want yet but i think but it's an improvement

Lighting is good enough now IMHO. Keep working on it, but focus only on materials and shaders.
You should seek for some tutorials, about shaders, car paint and alloy, for your 3D package. Let us know what you'll find.
