Scared Enzo
So I have probably done this car about 10 times now and im to a point where I dont think I messed up to bad. I start having issues when I start cutting out the doors and things like that. Here is a render mostly smooth exept the front.

What you should do is placing edges according to the separation line between body parts. That is, the whole mesh (the one you've got before to separate parts) should already show the limit between the door and its periphery.
Doing this, the separation process will only be a simple matter : duplicate the faces of the door, put them in another object for the moment, and in the other object (the whole mesh) just delete the vertices which are in the door. Another way for you to model, is to do only a part at a time : this way, you just don't create a whole mesh. To me, this is a better solution, as it forces me to focus on one part and so to add all the details to that part before moving to another one. Doing a whole mesh always leaded me to forget some stuff here and there. Keep it up, and keep us updated ! ![]() ![]() Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4) See my work and my tutorials on www.thomasbaron.net |

Here are some more pics of it. I welded the front and the hood back on. I got the basic shape down but still dont wanna chamfer the car because I wanna get it right the first time. Thats why I called it Scared enzo. Cars start to get complecated when you cut it up.
