Can you tell me how you made that material for your turn signal lights? I've been struggling to emulate that exact look for over a year.

@advan, na the nsx is still on hold -____-" i will finish it 1 day i think just need motivation
for the engine and stuff... ^__^

@xero, well, regardless of your rendering engine, you just make a glass material, and on the bumpmap
slot you use a map that "resembles" a grid, obviously thatll look your signal light too squarish so mke
it softer so that it gets rounder, fiddle with the blur option on the map and on other things.

ah i talk too much, basically glass material -> map your "plastic squares" in a bumpmap et voilà

cheers

It's a really nice start. Mesh is really clean & smooth, but there is a bit of polywasting. You can try to save some rows.

The yellow render looks really good ! I'll be watching this one.

Keep us updated !

Yuck, its really fast and crappy, but then again, it will give you an idea, if the bump does not go
where you want to (i.e inwards instead of outwards), just go to some rollout menu i forgot on the image and set "invert"

Also, you need to apply a UVW map at the thing you want to texture!

cheers

Okay, I got it to work without the texture you gave me and it looks really nice up close. HOWEVER, from far away it renders it as if it is one solid piece of glass.
