I agree with younglon, looks like there is a glass between the car and the camera. Otherwise the model is impressive.
Shouldn't the rearlights have been red : http://staticblog.hi-pi.com/gisblogM...1181244001.jpg ? ![]() ![]() Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4) See my work and my tutorials on www.thomasbaron.net |

Thanks guys, I couldn't find the source of the problem but it rendered fine (well half fine) when i stuck it in a new max file, but now all the colours are weird....the bronze gold you see was supposed to be white lol
But Anyways I have understood this UVW mapping thing almost now, just missed some small fillets in the mapping, but basically it is done, changed the tailights, but i need to fix the glass on everything else. Also updated the cars list, this is pretty much final now. http://www.smcars.net/forums/work-pr...tml#post189201 |

Hell man, you seriously have some talent for your age... If you don't get picked up by a company by the time you're leaving high-school, I'd be going postal.

The car looks indeed nice, but the glass shader needs work.
The white paint being gold may be a consequency of the light : which color do you use for your sun ? The MICHELIN logo on the tire sidewall is not exactly the actual one : please check the refpic below. I agree to say it's only pitnicking ![]() http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...-1920x1440.jpg The same refpic shows also some interesting details on the front air intake. I don't know if you modeled them yet. Also, it looks like you have forgotten the 3 tiny holes behind the door. But I'm not sure as the car side are pretty dark on your render. Keep us updated ! ![]() ![]() Currently project : Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster Previous : Marcos 1800 GT (60's winner), Ariel Atom II (LightIsRight winner), SuperSeven (WZA #4) See my work and my tutorials on www.thomasbaron.net |

thanks man, pretty soon, I think, just setting up a rig atm, cannot be bothered with commercial ones, I ve set up most of the rig, steering, body roll, movement and making the wheels rotate by themselves as the car moves, however...I'm stuck, and need help on surface tracking, and how to limit the amount the wheel falls/rises in the suspension. thanks, here screens of the basic rig so far

the rigging thing didnt work out, mainly because i couldn't get the and suspension working, and the wheels tracking the surface, so yeah ill probs stick to third party plug-in.....
anyways started on the LP560, I know theres a bump at the indicator, also how accurate is it looking? |

Cool, LP560
If You looking for nice plug-in to steer your car check this one:{E}vermotion - 3D models, textures, tutorials, architecture, 3D graphic, vray, 3ds max Its easy to configure and you can steer it like in video game ![]() EDIT: I found inaccurate place in your Gallardo ,:![]() ![]() | Lamborghini Miura P400 | Lamborghini "Rambo" LM002 | Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra | BMW E30 M3 DTM |
