I agree with younglon, looks like there is a glass between the car and the camera. Otherwise the model is impressive.

Shouldn't the rearlights have been red : http://staticblog.hi-pi.com/gisblogM...1181244001.jpg ?

Looking awesome but I agree with tom120934 and younglon. I also don't like the headlights but maybe this is how it looks in real life.

Thanks guys, I couldn't find the source of the problem but it rendered fine (well half fine) when i stuck it in a new max file, but now all the colours are weird....the bronze gold you see was supposed to be white lol

But Anyways I have understood this UVW mapping thing almost now, just missed some small fillets in the mapping, but basically it is done, changed the tailights, but i need to fix the glass on everything else.

Also updated the cars list, this is pretty much final now.

Hell man, you seriously have some talent for your age... If you don't get picked up by a company by the time you're leaving high-school, I'd be going postal.

Fantastic work!!

very nice job i like the paint on this car, only a few things to point out the glass material looks weird and also the michellen texture on the tires are reversed

The car looks indeed nice, but the glass shader needs work.

The white paint being gold may be a consequency of the light : which color do you use for your sun ?

The MICHELIN logo on the tire sidewall is not exactly the actual one : please check the refpic below. I agree to say it's only pitnicking

http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...-1920x1440.jpg

The same refpic shows also some interesting details on the front air intake. I don't know if you modeled them yet.

Also, it looks like you have forgotten the 3 tiny holes behind the door. But I'm not sure as the car side are pretty dark on your render.

Keep us updated !

thanks guys,

@Doc. - You mighta heard the "I get money" song, so here my improvisation on diddy's line....
I got max, I got max......been doin this shi over over two years
sorry, had tobe said, although its quite irrelevant, but hopefully i do get a job at the end of high school, pays for my Uni funds then, so I can try and attempt my ingenious plan....(actually I got nothing right now, but soon I will get a Ferrari before 25) lol

@younglion - turns out, I had two copies of the window meshes, lying on each other, giving me the strange glass look, me being an idiot lol. Michelin logo's damn, you noticed, I was being lazy and just mirrored the wheels not changing the logo direction.

@tom - I can't change the colour of the sun, Im using MR's built in sun and sky, but I think the sun is much brighter than the sky, thats why i get a gold look, but it still shouldn't look like that, It was hard to find that logo at a decent res, you noticed but I've changed it now, the details on the front I have not done yet, the little screw things I presume and the tow loop, will make them soon, I haven't made the holes either, but I have no idea of the purpose of them, very strange, but its gonna give me mesh problems I think, will give it a shot though.

@staticrain - yeah fixed the glass man, glad you like the car.

------------------------------------------------------------
anyways after my essay

Alright, i've fixed the glass, using a different lighting set-up and I have put on a worn otu texture on the tyres, btw I have actually started the 430 Scuderia, but damn the fornt is a pain in the arse to get looking right... also have little time to do 3d, got exams (proper ones) in like two months, so yeah... anyways heres two improved renders,
