Mazda CX-7

After modelling all standard and optional Ford C-Max rims (I won't model accessories rims) I've decided to move back to modelling cars.

I have changed car paint and lights in the studio a little bit and started modelling this Mazda.

Basic front of the body is done, so I'll now add lights and other parts before I move on to the side of the car.

Thanks for all comments!

I have changed studio base. First render was made in old studio and second one is made in a new studio. I have also changed car paint a little bit.

I have made fog lights and bumper grill.

I'll look closely on some places on the body of the car so renders could be lookin' better but this could be just a bad studio lights setup.

Thanks!

I have fixed studio light planes shape so reflections look better now. I have also made a simple clay render.

I have also modelled front grill with Mazda logo and added a small lamp for the fog lights.

Now I'll start makin' headlights and I'll try to finish them today.

Gillou - Thanks!

pedro.malheiro - Thanks for pointing this out. I'll fix that.

Finally I have managed to model headlights. I'll just have to apply a bumpmap for turn indicators glass.

Now I'll start modelling side of the body.

ibeam - In this car it is really so big. (see attached photo)

janusz_the_maker - Thanks!

I have modelled more of the body and added lines to the headlights turn lights indicators glass (I have cut them instead of makin' a bumpmap).

Thanks for all comments! I'll try to make my renders better.

I continue workin' on this one. I finished modelling the side of the body. Now I'll make windows and start makin' details. Then I'll move back to makin' the rear part of the car.
