the car looks good overal but you have some accuration issues. You have to check the front lights, The hard line on the side towards the rear fender. Also your edges are a bit soft for this car. You have also a strange technique of working with the different numbers of polys at each side of the seam. This ends in a discontinuity in the seams width, you should work on that.

Other than that, it looks really lovely!

thanks man
Front lights, erm have to check that out was modelling them from refs (in fact the whole car is pretty much made on refs) but yeah will double check on that. the hard line is gone, now, and my modelling way yeah okay - most of the edges actually do give the same seam width, except its that some panels have thicknesses others don't so the lighting plays tricks, but there are a few areas where theres slight discontinueity - will fix that. Soft Edges ? hmm.... which ones in particular or do you think all of them are too soft, hard edges, just doesnt look right when I make it...

Anyways made the fixes, made brakes although they are very innacurate so I will be remaking them, and made the mesh grill at the rear under the tail lights.

polies are getting a bit outta hand ...

ahh thanks man, ive made the front edge sharper, will fix the lights (probs remake them) and that pointless thing under the lights got a bit of a mesh problem there, but shouldnt be too hard to work it out.
did some more work on the engine bay, although little it is, remade the calipers,

@advan - thanks man, although erm that defies the laws of physics

@staticairn - thanks man

@NightEye - ooh nice find man yeah fixed that, wasn't too much of a problem.

Alright a little update, did more work on the engine, made nearly all the grill parts (only two remain, on the hood), made the trunk area, and was bored so made the intercoolers behind the grills(which is the orange thing you should see in the renders and screens), Imade the windscreen wiper although I was guessing most of it, since I found no good pics of it.Anyways I thought Id just show you guys the paint im going for.

Things to be done
  • Tail lights
  • Headlight fix
  • Hinges
  • whatever else is lurking in the engine bay
  • thing which keeps the muffler in place,
  • Any small things I missed (like the part you stick the seatbelt into)
