1995 Renault Sport Spider
Before the vote for the next contest ends, I've searched which I really want to model for each decade.
For the 90's, I've thought to the Renault Sport Spider (1995) It comes with only 2 seats, 4 strokes inline (150hp) and 930kg. At that time, Renault wanted to have a sport cars suiting the F1 championships they won.
One year later, the Lotus Elise comes to production. End of story, UK 1 - France 0...
Here's what I've got so far. It's a very preliminary WIP but as I really enjoy it, I wanted to publish it ASAP.

Looks like a nice start Tom, looks like the air vent on the side a needs a sharper edge around it.

The fenders need to bulge quite a lot more. See this pic:

Thanks Prykie. I hope it will continue this way
Thanks NightEye, I'm glad to have an elder commenting it I definitely agree with you about the fender. I've tried to get it right but I'm not happy of the surface I've got so far. I will do extra work on it ASAP.
Here're some new details on the front.

Yet another update. Rim is only preliminary study, and tire is just a placeholder.

Looks much better now
I just saw this line is a bit off too. Can't describe it, but you can see by looking at the refpic.
And no problem

Thanks for the comment, janusz_the_make. Glad you like it.
NightEye, your eye is still really good ! You were right about that shape, the curvature wasn't smooth enough. Fixed it.
Here's an update : more detailed rims, less horrible tire volume and headlight start.

Yet another update : start of the windshield, and a little progress towards the interior.
The new cam angle showed a lot of bumps, I'll have to fix them all before anything else.

The car is a french lightweight roadster. To learn more about it : Renault Spider - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Here are some wires, both smoothed and unsmoothed, both front and rear views.
