just a small update

and here my first attempt at some basic textures on it

im still tryin to figure out a better lighting for the final scene when i get the truck finished

lol the treads were a pain . ithe rear tires i started with i cylinder with enough sides that they were the width of the lug i wanted then started with some negative extrusions, mostly alot off trial and error till the looked right. the front i basically did the same. just took my a bit of time.ill try to post wire of the tires later

nothing fancy just a simple non directional military tread

wow, awesome model!!!! one thing, the front tires seem to have a very flat wall, should be more round.

thnks et , and yea the front tires still need some work. there is a slight bulge on them just very hard to see from that angle. in real life they run in excess of 100lbs air pressure 125- 150 being the norm. they are pretty flat . im probaly gonna redo them as im not fully happy with the tread yet.if you look at the inner sidewall of the furthest tire you can see a small bulge its probaly my crappy lighting that making it hard to see. my lighting still needs a ton of work lol

i did find that the tire wasnt quite centered in the rim . that was causing it too look off. thnks for mentioning it
