Chevrolet Chevelle SS (1972)

I started working on this one yesterday. This one will be another detailed highpoly model.

Now I'll start detailing the hood and make the front fender.

Nice choice! People usually model the earlier versions of Chevelle, so it's good to see a 71-72 version. Great details so far!

p2sta, younglion - Here are some wires.

I made fron tlicense plate from Nevada. I also made original rims. After finishing the model I'll maybe try some custom rims but I'll keep them in the same style (not to big ).

I think you might want t do something for that area. Looks messy with those tri´s.

I really like your rim. Overall modeling looks really nice

Thanks for all comments!

rallydriver - Thanks for pointing this out. I forgot about deleting this tris at the upper right corner area but it is fixed now, but at the lower corners all polys are quads.

spitty3d - I've fixed that.

Today I'll try to model some tyres.

Main body shape is done.

Now I'll just have to add details and after that move on to the interior.

I've also attached some wires.

Dubs? There was luckily no "dubs" option in 1972.Man dubs are so out.
If you want people laugh at you,put dubs on you 15 years old Civic or Fiesta

Chevelle is lookin good!
Best Chevelle body shape ever this generation.

it looks like a really good start of a lovely car. I see more and more old cars modelled here and i can't say i need to complain

The only thing i should check is your front bumper, it looks a bit bumpy at the sides, but the rest is great! keep it up

Erik_S - I'll have a look at it.

Catlin - I definitely won't put dubs on it but I think about making some customs, only a bit smaller (max 17 inches).

The area around front window and doors is done. Now I'll detail the rear part of the car and maybe model a simple underbody.
