very nice idea, and work also, but personally i think the rims will be too large for that type of car.

Well, the bigger the tires, the less rotations it has to make, the less fuel it costs
But then again, since it's a big tire, it requires a lot of power to rotate them, and power means fuelconsumption

Well, alot of my inspiration comes from mid 90's concept roadsters and such, and so huge wheels are the norm, the look I wanted to give this is something that would be perfectly in place at NAIAS etc. (Loved it this year btw, I AM going to buy a mazdaspeed mx5 miata, amazing fitting car, honestly better fit than any prsche or jag I have sat in, including the xj220) But yeah, I like to go big, and if I want something to seem production style, then I do a production car. Any ideas for a name?

Btw: You say that the name is WIP too...
I guess you mean that the name isn't final, rather than it's called WIP Zimbo Coupé?
