ferrari scaglietti wip AST

Hey, just wanted to start a wip, it may be long times between posts because its a busy time for me. But, any comments concerning accuracy would be great.

Keep in mind, i save all the rounds and flanges for the end. So if surfaces don't seem like they have gaps, they will be filled later.

Image 1 is a picture of the car from the web:
Image 2 screen shot inside the program
Image 3 just a quick bunk speed render to check the reflections

Thanks guys

I started to model this ferrari few years ago in AST but didn't continue. I found it too difficult for me, as my level in AST was quite low for that time.
Can you show your pictures with isocurves and edges as well?

@max

This is like my 4th attempt w/ this general shape, and it still has some major issues w/ the reflections, i will post some surface evaluations and let you see some isocurves Monday. Alias Studio can be brutal sometimes.

PS: when i get back to school where this is all at i will post more, thanks guys for the encouraging comments haha, i am going to need it to get through this one

It looks awesome, Helicase. I have Alias, but I think I am going to learn 3Ds properly first...

Student downloads rock, don't they? I think I have gotten 7 or 8 of their downloads so far...Alias is the last one to learn.
