Toyota Hiace 1979 Finished :)

Hi

I start new car because my Skyline destroyed
It´s Toyota Hiace and it´s easy to model, but I dont have any good program like 3dmax only Anim8or but it has pretty good render system.
And I´m only beginner so be centle.

Anim8or has weird broplem. If you make low-poly model you cant smooth it like in 3DMax. (Mesh-smooth)
It looks horrible but it´s my 2rd model :wink:

PS: I gonna finish this car and I use prints in here!!!

It's a very intersting car you chose and I think you got it quite good, especially since it is your second model. You could improve that a-pillar area abit, it loooks messy.

Thanks and yes. The A-pillar is pretty hard to get smooth...I dont know why :lol: I try to fix that...

I changed those red-marked areas (look old and new pic)
And I have problems with A-pillar. (any sugestions) :wink:

My Anim8or keeps crashing allover the time. I can make only few splines and then it crash again

I think you got too many polies above the wheelwell but the wireframe is clean overall.
You dont really need three rows on the a pillar there, its quite straight so even one will be enough.

You deserve recognition for your efforts. That's a pretty good model.

I used that Anim8or program once (Mac version) and I hated it. It crashed all the time (it was running on a Powermac G4). I only used it because I had no other choice.

I have to make pumber, Toyota logo, somethink behind the wheels and better wheels = little more polys

Whole car haves now 1818 polys with wheels. Pretty low-poly ha :wink:
