I like the looks of it, but I don't think it really fits, as the frontbumper is relatively simple.. But then again, it does fit the hood..
Hmm... tough decission...
But well, I like it

thanks guys, really appreciate your comments... I would design it again from scratch. Agree with NE, it's too complex for the style of the bumper.

Cheers Dario

Designed a new sideskirt and now I'm happy with it. Next will be the rear bumper, then a good bandsaw (sharp edges) to the whole body.

Cheers Dario

You u call that side bumper...Imo ugly..
Try 2 make the stock 1 first.
Tuning is 2 make car better in evry point of view, but yours is antitunnig.

thats just your opinion though. tuning is a matter of taste, really. you might not like it, but dppd69 does (as do I and some of the guys posting in this thread).

dppd69:
that new side skirt is much better. overall i like the look you're giving the car, its quite aggressive  keep it up

Just for precision, my sideskirt starts where the stock one ends... The stock RX-8 has no sideskirts applied .
Happy to see that for you my car is "antitunning", your opinion is precious for me (btw I love your SL500 and your modeling skills) to improve my next cars. This is my first try in tuning a car and everything is an experiment.
Cya to the next tuning thread... and use more "softness", your crits will be appreciated waaay more and perhaps listened to .

>NE, f50, Shorty
very thanks guys... Do you think the sideskirt needs some sharper edges ?? I would add them.

Cheers Dario

P.S.
Nobody noticed that something is missing in the side ?? Can you guess ??

wheel wells and mirror, right ? and the edges shouldn't be more sharp, becouse the front bump is rounded, so should be the rest of the body, show us some wonderfull renders with that paint on 1st pic

very cool!! the sideskirt is good, although imo it needs some bandsaw etc to make it more defined

.. and missing, im guessing it's the door .. apart from the mirrors etc.

Keep it up!

Will

Will is right, I modeled the car to have only ONE door (the stock has two).
1 buck for you .

I think he meant that the stock has 2 per one side.

Finally I got the rear bumper done.

This is all my design (Mazda inspired of course)

This is VeilSide kit inspired

Notice that the bottom part (mufflers' spaces and bottom spoiler) will be carbon-fiber textured.
I don't know which I prefer more, love both for different reasons. Will be hard to decide, so I need your help
Tell me what you prefer and why, plz.
Have a nice WE...

Cheers Dario

i'd also use the bumper you designed yourself, as the veilside one is a bit ugly IMO (parts stick out too far and stuff like that).

can't wait to see it on the car
