Yes, I render in LW ops:
It takes ages, but I cannot figure out a different way.
I have no idea about exporting stuff in MAX (I would try Vray and its awesome displacement). Some of my tests produced only ugly meshes.
If you have some tricks about exporting (and you have, I simply LOVE your CarreraGT grill), may you share them with us ?? I really appreciated your psd tutorial, but I cannot understand how you can export the lwo mantaining the UV infos.

btw, where do you think I can optimize the mesh ??

Cheers Dario

I was talking about after rendering, saving the pic (exporting the render to a file format in this case... ), which could cause that line in the render..
Sorry if it confused people..

As for the wire, I think it looks great But your bandsaws around the seems aren't equal (some are a bit bigger than others), but oh well, the result still looks sweet

No confusion, NE... As for me, I'm really curious about majestic's pipeline
The seams are intentionally different, because in some points I need less sharpness than in others. I would have to study the weight maps, but I prefer to add the old good geometry
Thanks for your opinion,

Cheers Dario
