The A7V Project

I was looking around and noticed that well, my car meshes suck. And I don't care. But I did notice one thing else. I noticed my tank meshes, espically the Tsar one I recently made, are really good.
And then I remembered something.. "Stick to what you do best."

Anyway, the point is I'm gnna work on my tanks more. And I'm going back to an "old" pre re-format project.

I am going to make all 20 A7V Sturmpanzerwagen German tanks from the first world war. This may not sound like much, but there is very little material on them, and every one of them was different from the others in some way or another.

So, to begin with. I'm doing Chassi number 528, otherwise known as Hagen. My personal favorite, and the easiest to start with because I have a 1:25 scale model of it.

I'm putng as much detail into these A7V's as I can, but my polycount limit is 15,000. So I can put all 20 of them into NFS4.

And don't worry, I'll finish the Datsun 240RS as soon as I get CD9 to make my textures.

Without further adieu, I present A7V 528 "Hagen".

Alright, I finished the frame of the chassis. Still requires all the running gear and alot of brackets and stuf. But oh well. I also put in a floor for all to stand on!

Now on to buisness matters. I need pictures. I've got alot as it is, but I need more.

Specificly I need detail images of the origonal A7V's. I have enough pictures of 506, Mephisto, which is at the Queensland Museum in Australia, so the only ones I need from that are of the chassis or interior.
I really need images of the interior or chassis of 563 "Wotan", wether it be the origonal or the replica in the Panzermuseum in Munster Germany.

But most importantly, I need images of the A7V in any way.
I have images of the following ones:
500 - prototype - 3 pics
501 "Gretchen" - 4 pics
503 - 1 pic
504 "Schnuck" - 2
506 "Mephisto" - 51 pics
507 "Cyklop" - 2 pics
527 "Lotti" - 1 pic
528 "Hagen" - 8 pics (and a models)
542 "Elfride" - 005
562 "Herkules" - 1 pic
563 "Wotan" - 10 pics

Plus I have aproxemetly 51 images that I can't identify or are of models/drawings.

I NEED images of the following or I can't make them.
502
505 "Baden 1"
525 "Siegfried"
526
529 "Nixe 2"
540 "Heiland"
541
543 "Adalbert"/"Konig Wilhelm"
560 "Alter Fritz"
561 "Nixe"
564

Of course I can identify what chassis number is in the image provided it's clear enough to read any words, numbers, or color patters that might be on it.

So please, if you happen to have any images, feel free to post them here for me, it would be greatly appreciated. I've pretty much cleaned out google.

And an update for you!

Alright, I made the main gun assembly, it's finished. It took a while to find any pictures of the Maxim-Nordenfeld 57mm "Sokol" gun. But I did.
The whole gun assembly is around 1250 polies, which isn't bad because I've said it somewhere, the main gun and machine guns are what will kill the poly count, that and the running gear.

It's not you, but it's not angled either. I dunno why, it just looks that way. But it's flat.
